The UDM extends its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late John Gomomo.

I knew him since the late 80s when I was in charge of Transkei. When the former Transkei Government appointed a commission to relax labour laws, we approached him for assistance. He and now Minister Sydney Mufamadi contributed immensely. Also during the CODESA negotiations John played a significant role.I will remember him as an absolute gentleman and cool-headed individual in pressure situations.
