CONDOLENCES WITH THE PASSING OF MPHO 'GIFT' LEREMI MEDIA STATEMENT ISSUED BY UDM NATIONAL SPOKESPERSON (5 SEPTEMBER 2007)
We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Gift's family, his friends, his teammates and to all soccer loving South Africans.

Gift, as he was affectionately known, was a very dedicated, hardworking, energetic and inspiring football player - he was a role model to many upcoming soccer players. With his talent, style and passion on the pitch, Gift was indeed an exceptional football player.

South Africa is sad for this loss especially when we were waiting to see more of him as he grew in flair and skill. Football fans will cherish his contribution to his clubs and soccer in the country.

May his soul rest in peace
