UDM URGES MATRICULANTS TO RISE ABOVE CHALLENGES

STATEMENT ISSUED BY UDM CAUCUS

The UDM wishes matriculants in South Africa everything of the best for their upcoming final exams.

The circumstances that matriculants find themselves should be duly noted. This includes schools with poor infrastructure, textbooks not being available or delivered and the looming teachers' strike. Many students also have to study under very difficult circumstances of poverty.

The UDM also calls on the Department of Education to play their part in ensuring that from the Department's side all administrative processes for the examinations are executed in a professional manner, contributing towards a successful matriculation and a high pass rate.

However, the UDM urges students to rise above these challenges and see their exams as an opportunity for them to take charge of their own futures and shape it to determine a better future.
