STATEMENT ISSUED BY MALIZOLE DIKO The UDM in the Western Cape welcomes the urgency that has been shown by provincial- and national government on the bombing in Camps Bay. This kind of action cannot be afforded by this province especially at this time of the year. This monster “urban terrorism” should not be allowed to raise its ugly head once again. The UDM calls on members of the public to assist the police as much as possible. The people of this province should look out for suspicious characters and inform the authorities immediately so as to prevent such incidents. We also call on the intelligence agencies to pull up their sock and outsmart these barbarians who want to instil fear in the minds of our people. The Government needs to prove that it is in control.
