MOTLANTHE REVEALS ANC’S FEAR OF COMPETITION

STATEMENT ISSUED BY BANTU HOLOMISA as UDM PRESIDENT

Observing Kgalema Motlanthe’s behaviour one is reminded of a school bully’s whining when at last he meets someone that does not back down. As is usually the case with hyper-sensitive whining, facts are thrown out the window in favour of shallow melodramatic statements.

For the benefit of our esteemed opponent, and those who expected the truth from him, we gladly point out the following facts:

Most of our members are in fact not former members of the National Party. To the contrary, the majority is former members of the ANC. At the risk of implying that
Mr. Motlanthe does not know his own party, we remind him that the ANC have clasped former NP office-bearers warmly to its bosom. These include people like Patrick Mackenzie, Mario Masher, David Chuenyane, John Gogotya - a former paid agent of the apartheid state’s security structures! - and others of the same ilk.

The only grain of truth in Motlanthe’s statements is his admission that the ANC “has a greater need to keep an eye on the UDM”. And we know the reason for his fear. South Africans are sick and tired of this type of deceit. What is more South Africans realise that the UDM is the logical and effective alternative to the ANC.
